The mechanism of work of the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company ADNOC scholarships program

The application and interview process are designed to identify the brightest Emirati talent, whose work ethic and core values ​​align with the ADNOC Principles.
Prospective scholars must have already received a conditional acceptance letter from our list of accredited universities, for one of the following majors:

1.Chemical Engineering

2.Petrol Engineering

3.Mechanical engineering

4.Geology

5.Polymer Science

6.Materials science

7.Engineering project management

8.Automation in Data Science

9.Artificial Intelligence

11.Financial Engineering for Engineers

Candidates will also be required to undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation or examination.

You will also need to confirm that you have no obligations that might interfere with your studies. For those eligible for National Service, this must include the ability to submit a Military Service Release Letter.

Undergraduate program eligibility criteria

1.Attend a school recognized for academic excellence by the Ministry of Education (MoE). A high school certificate from the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) or the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) or its equivalent.

2.Achieving a minimum of 85% in each subject of Science and Mathematics,

Mathematics 1250 and above and

Physics 800 and above.

  • Average final secondary school exam results of 85% or above to pursue the

Local Studies Scholarship.

  • Average final exam results of 90% or higher if you intend to study abroad.
  • For the British school system, completion of GCE A-Level with a minimum of 3 A-level subjects with grade A/A/B or 136 UCAS tariff points and 5 GCSE/IGCSE subjects with grade 7 or above.
  • For the International Bachelor (IB) system, you must have a minimum of 36 points overall.
  • English language requirements and tests:
    *TOEFL (or equivalent) 80 and above
    *IELTS 6.0 and above
    *EMSAT English 1400 and above

Additional postgraduate eligibility criteria:

1.Minimum GPA of 3.5 or its equivalent in a bachelor’s or master’s program from an accredited academic institution.

2.TOEFL score of 100 and above / IELTS 7.0 and above.

You must have at least 4 years of work experience if applying for a master’s program or at least 6 years of work experience if applying for a PhD programme.
